Northshore College of Business and Technology is transforming the tertiary education in Sri Lanka. The degree programmes on offer are from the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, which is the largest provider of higher education in the South West of England. Students who join Northshore will, therefore, register as full-time students of UWE.

Commencement of Academic Years and Examination Periods:
Academic Year will commence in January every year for regular entry and direct entry students.
Examinations are held in April/May and August. Resit examinations are held in late October/November. Exams will be held on weekdays and Saturdays.
Only level 4 of September 2013 cohort will commence in September 2016 who will have exams in January and April 2017.
Examination Results and Resits
Login to your UWE profiles to see the examination results. It will be released during the 1st week of October 2016 for Software and Business Administration.
For Civil and Electrical the results will be released during this week. Keep checking your UWE profile starting from 18th October.
If you have trouble in login to your UWE profiles, If there is a password issue, click the ‘reset password’ option. You can immediately get a new password.
If you have a resit, this is shown in your academic record using a code. For example:
1RA - This is your first attempt at the module and you need to resit component A. (exam)
1RB - This is your first attempt at the module and you need to resit component B. (coursework)
1RALL - This is your first attempt at the module and you need to resit all components (exam and coursework)
Resit exam period for Business Administration and Software Engineering will be from 31st October to 4th November 2016
Resit exam period for Civil and Electrical Electronic Engineering will be starting from 7th November.
The resit exam timetables and coursework will be uploaded in Moodle.
